Happy Friday loves. Today I want to share 7 EASY things that make you can do to feel better almost instantly, especially on those days where you don’t feel like being a productivity machine or when you need a change of mood.
Shower
Getting out of shower is the best feeling. You’re clean, fresh and ready to start the day. I prefer warm shower, or as my husband say it, why-the-water-so-hot shower.
Eat vegetable/fruit
I am personally trying to make this a habit because I always treat vegetable as a complementary dish. It should be the main dish together with whatever protein you’re taking. But I make sure to eat an apple every day. The reason is apples are available all season and I can buy it at any supermarket.
Give charity
“Those who in charity spend of their goods by night and by day, in secret and in public, have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve” (Quran 2:274)
You can give monetary aid, feed people or even smile! An act of charity goes a long way.
Go outside aka move your body

Because of the pandemic we have been spending our time inside a lot. If you are not allowed to go out yet, taking some fresh air or stretching on the balcony would do. Your mind will feel refreshed instantly.
Journaling
Journaling is easily the simplest thing to do. You don’t need to write up an essay. I mean, you can if you want to. You can start with a simple list of “5 things I’m grateful for today” or listing up places you want to visit. A little daydreaming won’t hurt.
Make someone smile

Call your parents, friends or family. If you’re not up to talking, share that funny relatable meme to them. When they feel better, you feel better.
Clean your space
It can be your bed, workspace or house. You can go from just wiping the dust to deep cleaning every corner. Clean space, clear mind.
Last but not least, don’t forget to have a rest. Your body and mind deserve it. Take it easy, take your time.
