Wow. Did I really not post anything since June? Yes, yes I did. Guilty as charged. The reason being was mainly procrastination; that one friend that assures you delaying something is actually a good thing. But, the other main reason was me busy preparing for my big day. Yes.
I GOT MARRIED!

It was crazy, chaotic, nerve-wrecking and at moments I thought is this real? Am I getting married? A guy actually wants to live with…me? Isn’t this too early? My inner 17 year old still wants to be “independent”, “see the world”, explore any “possibilities” but the better half of me was a calm 35 year old woman ready to be a Mrs. Life is just a series of confusions.
But thankfully, everything went well during the event. I won’t go into the details of the preparation because you can find those scattered on the net. Besides, it all depends on your budget and preferences. I got engaged in March and 6 months later I became a wife to this amazing man. Alhamdulillah π

Even now, I still remember the nikaah ceremony vividly. I wasn’t nervous at all..until I sat on the pelamin with my mom, in front of all the people. It wasn’t anything like stage fright. More like what people call mixed feeling. Nervous, glad, sad, happy, anxious, hungry. If it lasted for an hour I would totally passed out right there and then.

But what eased me was seeing familiar faces in the crowd; family, friends. Ahh, I have sooo much love for them. Sometimes I wish I could keep them in my pocket and bring them wherever I go. And seeing my then fiance’s face after 6 months of long distance relationship. Pure calm right there. (sila muntah hahaha)
Now I’m back in Japan, still adapting to the sudden shift in daily activities and surrounding. But I’m trying to enjoy this phase because…YOLO, right?
